Monitoring on the Pillars of Justice
Musawa took upon itself the responsibility of monitoring the pillars of justice, and this is through tracking, monitoring, documenting, and treating a number of social, cultural, political, economic, and implementation obstacles that result in undermining the rule of law and the separation of authorities. All monitoring activities take place within the legal methods and procedures.

In light of the conditions on the ground, citizens, lawyers, and judges are affected deeply by the weaknesses of the judicial authority and its inability to deal with the difficulties, and doubt over its conditions as well as its credibility.

Due to these conditions, Musawa has adopted the legal methods and procedures in order to implement its principle responsibility, monitoring on the pillars of justice. Musawa publishes reports of violations and breaches in its quarterly newsletter “Eye on Justice,” which is distributed to lawyers, judges, the Palestinian Bar Association, civil society organizations and interested parties.
